In this math equation, what would the initial value of each equation be?

Jack: h = –5t² + 15t + 10

Jill: h = –5t² + 20t + 10

Please explain to me how I would figure this out. I am soooo lost.

The initial value would occur when t=0 since t is the variable. (This assumes that t is not a negative value).

For t=0, both equations reduce to h=10

looks like height as a function of time

both people start at t=0, making h=10 for both
