well, it depends on what you're trying to modify first. from what you've said, i'm assuming you're more on modding the exterior for looks. i agree the tint is good, but in my opinion i like having the car one solid color. so i personally would recommend (instead of a body kit) the RS lip kit. depending on your personal taste, you could leave it black but to me i would paint it white, but that is just my opinion. a white car with the black trim like what you're going for (i'm assuming) looks pretty nice as well. you could also modify your exhaust, depending on what type of look you want. there are the stock oem looking exhausts, the "fart can" looking exhausts or the drift spec exhausts. i would also recommend switching the stock radio antennae to a s2000 type one, and debadge the front grill. maybe replace the front grill altogether with a black mesh one.

if you want to go past cosmetic mods, i would suggest first to upgrade your handling. they are probably the cheapest to do.

    1) rear sway bar

    2) lowering kit

that's all you really need to do for that. you can take it one step further and start to modify your engine, but that's more expensive. you could do:

    1) turbo kit/supercharger (don't recommend supercharger, they aren't very reliable and have been known to need to be replaced within the first 15k miles and also for blowing up tc engines.if you go turbo, i recommend getting an lsd put in, upgrade the clutch and the flywheel as well as getting an aftermarket exhaust thats either 2.5 - 3.0 inches)

    2) pulleys

    3) intake (more cosmetic than anything)

    4) NOS

ultimately its all up to you, it just depends on what you feel is worth the money. if you're not into racing, then the cosmetic and handling modifications should be more than enough.

to what the guy said above me, he is incorrect. those mods can NOT give you that much hp gain. that's the equivalent of a turbo, and if you're going to try to get those numbers you will have to do some engine work because you would need to set the psi above 20. there is no way a tc using only those parts that he mentioned can get those gains. a person doing that would have to upgrade parts inside the supercharger itself which would thereby void the warranty on the supercharger. he is incorrect with his information, and there are dyno sheets out there to prove that those mods make only minimal gain. last time i checked, the supercharger only made 40 hp, not 140. maybe now since the compression ratio is higher it'll make higher gains, but it will still be no where near 140.

EDIT: yup, he's a total moron. he thinks that running synthetic oil in your car will get you 30 more hp.

replace the engine with an LS1, the trans with a T-56, the frame with a 4th gen F-body frame, convert to a RWD drive axle with 3.73 gears and maybe add some Trans Am body panels, hood, hatch, wheels, tires, tail lights, head lights, t-tops, decals, badges and all interior pieces. Yep, add those things and you'll have a better car. Like, 100% better.

K@N cold air, free flow converter, Borla muffler, Supercharger and short shift manual. this will add 140HP and 80 torque for 290 hp and 240 toque for extra for 4000.00. they are all Scion Options too. You should have financed them as that would add 80-90.00 to payment
