While cleaning out my garage we found a really nice Coleman Lantern.?
While cleaning out the garage my dad found a really nice Coleman Lantern in the original metal case. We were talking about possibly selling it, but have no idea how much it's worth. Is there a site that can give estimates on items that you might have for sale? I know I can always hop on E-bay and see what they're selling for, but this looks like it's possibly a vintage item and I kind of doubt there's something comparable to it.
Any assistance in this would be greatly appreciated. No we're not selling it yet and will not take offers at the moment.

coleman made tons of lanterns, theyre not worth all that much. one in excellent condition would run say 20-30 bucks. i wouldnt get to hyped up about it, i found something near 30 in a storage unit i bought, they were all in good shape, one went for 50 bucks, the rest about 20.

You`d be suprise how little value something like that goes for. You`ll need something with an eager market. My father an I found an old fire engine lantern from when "fire engines" were drawn by horses and the fire truck was a cart. It`s in great condition with the copper sleeve and the red glass isn't damaged at all, yet it was only selling for about $100 on ebay. I`d hold onto it and if possible clean it up without damaging it. Someone looking for that lantern will pay a lot mroe for it than a person buying it on ebay for a novelty.
Coleman is a large company they mass produce their products, although the mass production of their older items is most likely on a smaller scale. You should take a photo of it and post it with your question.

value is in the eye of the beholder, look for a manufacturing date on the lantern older the better. I just bought 2 early 60's colman lanterns for 20 bucks

I've bought lots of brand new looking ones at garage sales and $20 is the most I would have to pay for one in real good shape!

Is it the backside for a presentation cup? I believe the author who concluded that the hotel could advise Freemasonry. An offshoot is the Templars and in British history the Knights of St. John succeeded to almost each and all the homes and lands of the Knights Templar interior the middle a protracted time.

Check out some resale shops that carry vintage items. You might have it appraised also. If you have some older camping friends ask them.
