how to make a partition in external hard disk?? plsss?
i had bought 320 GB Seagate external hard disk. and i want make a partition using Partition Magic. But it didnt work..
so, what the other alternative way to make a partition..??

if you have the seagate disk that comes with most new hard driver use it if not go to seagate.com and download diskwizard tools and it should help

You can use Disk Management. Right-click on 'My Computer' and select 'Manage' (or select 'Computer Management' under 'Administrative Tools'). In the left pane, click on 'Disk Management'.
What went wrong with Partition Magic? That should definitely have worked, and if you have it, it's a much nicer tool to use.
