Do those Ripstop wedges actually spin it like the pros?

I know they screw up the covers on golf balls, but can an average golfer get the ball to spin back on the green with them? or at least get the ball to stop immediately?

Im not a great golfer, i shoot about 85 or so and I NEVER take divots. I dont hit down on the ball, I pick it clean everytime. Will I be able to spin it back on the green with one of these ridiculous looking wedges?

i agree that the vokey is better than these wedges you speak of, although these new srixon spin milled wedges are all the rage at my country club. i never really viewed srixon as one of the highest caliber golf companies, but when i tried this, the ball was checking like i was a pro. believe me, try it out

One of my students invested the 20.00 to try one of these. He does get a bit more spin, though not a lot. Regardless of what they advertise......They won't spin like a Vokey. The kind of spin that you are seemingly wanting is only generated by a good swing into the ball and a divot after contact......there is no magic wand made that will give you what you want here.
