There is a website called ADTelly.tv that can do this for you. it is a toolbar that is an addon for Firefox, so it does not matter what OS you are using, you can still watch Iplayer and other stations too that it includes.
It covers BBC Iplayer, ITV, CH4, CH5, Live TV, MTV UK.

You can unblock and watch both live and on demand US TV channels outside of the USA if you install a VPN on either your laptop or tablet/SMart TV. Once you have this running it will unblock all Geo-Restrictions for not only US but UK TV also, takes 2 mins to install and gives you alot more options.
