Your question my friend is confusing do you mean the icon "My computer"?? or are you having password problems logging onto your machine...
Running a defrag will only organse the sectors on your hard drive and does not make any "noticable" improvement on the overall performance on the machine itself...anyways..try these..
you can access the defrag tool from Start---programs--systemtools--defragment
go to contol panel and select "Administrative tools" for a analysis of the system's CPU and memory
performance

First you must log on to your desktop and make sure no other application is running on this to avoid lag or sooner lag effects.
Right click My Computer icon -> Manage -> Disk Defragmenter ->and Select the drive you want to defragged -> Defragment button.
good luck

click on start and my computer should be in the upper right column, click on my computer then right click on which drive you are wanting to defrag, then click on tools.
