Now that Obama has taken over GM, is he going to rename it the People's Car Company?

The sad thing is the government takes our money and gives it to failing companies. What they should do is give us our money back and as we spend it we will decide which companies succeed and which fail.

That is how the free market works.

Every time the government gets involved in the free market, they ruin the natural events that keep the market even keel.

The housing market skyrocketed and then crashed because the government got involved in making money available to everyone. The buyers end was artificially inflated.

This is also why college costs are so high. The government has made so much money available for college that colleges can charge outrageous prices.

A bunch of lawyers (politicians) most of have never worked for a company that had to make a profit, will never beat the Japanese in selling cars. Especially since the Japanese have laws that practically prohibit the US from selling in Japan and we pretty much sell Japan's cars for them.
