I got a question about HCG levels?

I just found out I was pregnant yesterday, this morning I had some spotting so the doctor ordered me to get my levels checked. She just called and told me my levels are 686.6 and that she wants me to go for another on Friday. Are these normal levels or should they be much higher?

    Well, here is a rundown...

You doc is probably ordering another test so they can compare the levels. Every 48 hours, your HCG levels should at LEAST multiply. So, your doc asked you to come back to they can check. When you have an abnormal pregnancy, like an ectopic pregnancy for example, your HCG levels won't multiply normally.

The minimum HCG level is 25 to show positive on a pregnancy test, so having a number in the 600's is a good sign, depending on the date you conceived.

Don't worry about it unless the number isn't 1200 or more on the second test. :-)

Good luck, CONGRATS and RELAX! :-)
