I super glued a coin to the ground at school. How do I get It off?

I did this for april fools day. Now I'm afraid I'm going to get in trouble for vandalism. It was only a small joke. :(

But now I just want to take it off. :(

I have already tried the nail polish remover. (I am at home and I glued two cent coins together and left them in nail polish remover for like 10 minutes)

Update:

okay so, i think the teachers noticed it was me. lol.

i know, i know. its stupid but a lot of people thought it was me and my school makes a big deal about these things. . . Its a pretty small school and trust me. my school is PRETTTTYY strict.

Update 2:

I used a lot of glue.

I don't care whats left behind just as long as the coins not there.

take something like a spatula or something flat. If you used super glue this will take some effort and time. Use the saptula and try to flip the coin off the ground.

Good luck and april fools day : )

Go to a hardware store and get a can of 100% acetone, it will get rid of the super glue and should not damage anything including the coin. Acetone is used by coin collectors to remove glues and greases from coins with no damage.

acetone - nail polish remover - not the gently on the hands type - but the harsh pure acetone type - read the label... and paint thinner might work too - any spirits stuff you find in the hardware store might work

my mom used to glue her fingers together as a regular problem when doing crafts and fixing things - I think she did it for attention, but anyway, it will eventually wear off of skin

you can try some rubbing alcohol.

Gas will get ANYTHING out, but that would surely raise quite a stink.

If I were you I would try to pry it off, find something that will fit under it, maybe some fishing string, and pull hard. How well does glue really stick to a coin anyway?

I hope you do not get in trouble, and hopefully you learned your lesson!

Don't worry super gluing a coin to the floor is the least of a schools worries lol....if you are that determined then get a chisel or something of that manner and try to scrape it off....

shape normally is loud, its no longer your components so there truly isn't something you're able to do regarding that. verify to substantiate there are no code violations with development precise alongside the valuables line and if their toddlers are stealing from you install a digicam (to have evidence of the crime) and function them arrested. maximum conservatives are actually not thoughtless twerps like your pals sound like.

Try sticking a sharp thing under it, like a knife or someting and get it off that way. I doubt the school would care though! Mine wouldn't. Unless its super posh or strict. :)
