What are three good things about our Canadian govermental system that you feel is sucessful?>?

1) 3 good things about our Canadian governmental system that you feel is successful, efficient, productive.

2) 3 things about our governmental system that you feel are improper, inefficient, hurts the system.

3) Give suggestions yo how our governmental system could change and what would make our government structure better.

I really suck as this stuff so please your help would be appreciated!!!

    Haha, clearly you're writing an essay!

    1. a) Checks and balances

    b) Functioning multiparty system

    c) Voting rights and high voter turnout (except the last election)

    2. a) Immigration reform (or lack thereof - see PhD cab drivers)

    b) Lack of accountability - see the new online integration of American government

    c) Lack of distinct International Policy (follow the US - see banning of George Galloway and War in Afghanistan)

    3. a) Greater incentives for small business and better recognition of international credentials

    b) Interactive platforms for which to communicate with all levels of government

    c) Distinct International policy - Canada used to have a peace making stance and was lauded the world over for this, until recently

    I know some of the answers were a little specific and may not speak to the overall system but I'm sure you can fill in the blanks - can't do it all for ya! Hope that gets the ball rolling...
