Why are SO many people either too lazy or too ignorant to have an avatar instead of that "gray face" default?

*Your questions are always so real and so relevant to what goes on here. I hate those d*mn gray faces. I think every gray face should get their account deleted.

Some people are private and don't want even a fake picture to give away anything. Either that or their just no fun. But to me it's just plain boring to look at a blank smiley face picture which usually leads me to avoid answering questions from the smileys.

Mine turned from an avatar into that little gray head...

Neither just some don't care if they have a picture. I went months without putting one up. I knew how just didn't care if I didn't have one
