How do I alleviate tooth pain caused by wisdom teeth pushing?

I got x-rayed at the dentist and I have been cursed with 4 wisdom teeth. There are bumps were the wisdom teeth are going to come in but they haven’t poked through, yet. How long is it before the little monsters gape through and wreak havoc on my teeth? I’m in pain here guys! Neither the Tylenol or Advil isn’t cutting it for me and I’m having a difficult time trying to get to sleep. Tried ice, wasn’t that great. My stupid dentist appointment is going to be in 2 weeks for them to take these freekin teeth out. Do you think my teeth are going to have shifted by then? How much do they typically move?

    Dear Heather;

    I used to just rub where my wisdom teeth were at in my mouth. They are a pain and the nerves are so close to the Brain it is awful.

    I think you should phone an Oral Surgeon or a Facial Surgeon and make an appointment immediately and let them know you have four Wisdom Teeth that need to be taken out immediately. Two weeks is too long of a wait. Tell them you need them out "Now"!

    Call your dentist back and tell him you are in pain. Would suggest you get a script for Motrin 800mg and Lorcet Plus (hydrocodone 7.5/APAP 650). This combination should make you comfortable until your appointment with an oral surgeon.

    Clove oil works wonders, tastes nasty, but its what dentists use to alleviate pain from a dry socket.

    Yeah, if the pain is getting bad, it may be time to get surgery as soon as possible. If you can't afford it yet, just try to get some pain medication until you can afford the surgery, or you could try to secure some credit for it.

    Go to your dentist and ask if you can have them pulled out, They might be crowding up your mouth. Is it just your wisdom teeth or is it your whole jaw?

    Ask for pain killers.
