Why is the soliloquy, "to-morrow, to-morrow, and to-morrow..." said by Macbeth so important?

    A. His life, he feels, is empty so he is emotionally already dead.

    B. He used to feel excitement at killing in battle, fear at seeing Banquo's ghost, guilt over killing Duncan. Now he doesn't feel anything.

    C. That's what the speech says: the life is "a tale told by an idiot." The play doesn't subscribe to that idea, but Macbeth does and the difference between the two shows the extent of his despair.
