No I'm not. I try to be, but in the interest of protecting someone's or my own feelings, I do lie here and there.

I know what YFFL means, I remember it from your earlier name, I too am a yffl! I unfortunately am not as honest as I would like, for my own good I keep things from my husband, he doesn't know I have a PC, he is kinda strange, so it is best not to tell him everything, so is an untold truth a lie?

In matters that count I am. In matters that have no consequence but hurting someone I will say something nice rather than be truthful and hurt them. For example, someone who would make a bonehead mistake I wouldn't want to chastise them for something that can't be fixed, it's better just to say "everyone makes mistakes" Same goes for those who feel the need to have their looks validated. No point in saying anything mean, even if it is true.

People always trys to be fully honest to some one, rather it be parents, friends or any other relatives. Depends on the people you talk to and who you trust and feel safe around.
