i have a 2000 ford contour... now 3 weeks ago, i had to replace the upper hose becuz it busted.?
now, im noticing that i put coolant/water in the proper place, and yet, when i park my car, i notice that not all the coolant/water has spilled out somehow. i am wondering if any of you can help me find out what is wrong or how i can make the necessary changes cheaply..?

Check the "weep" hole under the water pump pulley shaft using a dentist's mirror or similar. If you see tell-tale signs of leaking with white residue around the hole, then you need a new water pump installed. According to the Gates belts website link below, you do not have an "interference" engine that is damaged if the timing belt breaks, and your water pump is not driven by the timing belt (hidden behind a cover on the front of the engine). So your water pump is probably driven by the "serpentine" belt on the front of your engine.

One you should have never bought a F*cked Over Rebuilt Dodge!
Most likely their is stress on the hose, and the connection. One thing you could do is get a c-clamp that can go around the hose and the fitting to add tension and make a seal. Also they have sealants in a can you can buy at your local auto store.
