hey there, fishing in the wind can be aggravating if you let it. there is nothing that no one can do about it so there is no reason to get up set. instead of getting aggravated use the wind. let it help you get your lure where you want it. i have seen where the wind blows things out of the trees and smaller fish start striking the top of the water eating what comes out of the trees and all that furry with the smaller fish gets the attention of bigger fish. if you see that happening, toss out between the smaller fish and use that situation. if you dont then just turn your back to the wind and let the carry your lure where you want it. i guess to put it into simple words ""when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.""i guess that is how it goes. but i like when life gives me limes i drink corona...but you get the drift. there is no reason to let a little wind get your day down because there is absolutely nothing that can be done with the wind. i hope that this helps you a little good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the experience

I also live in SE Pa and I am going out tomorrow. I am not too concerned about the wind, more of how high the water is. There are spots along many rivers and streams that I know of that can protect you from the harsher weather elements. We will still catch trout, just not as many because conditions aren't ideal. Perhaps it may deter a lot of anglers to stay home and in bed and the better fishing for us.
Good luck and tight lines!

im not a expert but i was fishing yesterday with a popper and as you may know some poppers are not very heavy but i put a medium sized weight on there but if you go with the wind you will cast very far but if your against it then you need to just put more weight on it.

i'm a Christian. Christianity has a creation delusion, as do many different religions and cultures. there is not any longer something incorrect with the observe "delusion". in truth, it only potential a narrative. some people settle for those thoughts (myths) as absolute fact. in case you elect for to realize this, greater potential to you. yet there isn't any would desire to get indignant over using the observe "delusion", or over getting to grasp that there are a number of, many myths available. There are Greco-Roman myths, Christian myths, Hindu myths, and 1000's of others. by the way, atheists are no longer attempting to wreck us. they only choose for to no longer believe in deities.

Stand upwind, cast downwind. Try to find sheltered spots where the wind is blocked.
