Is it okay to workout 7 days a week but alternate workouts?

I enjoy going to the gym and am trying to gain muscle, but is this bad to workout every day?

Here is my workouts:

day 1: biceps and shoulders

day 2: legs

day 3: chest and triceps

day 4: abs and back

I usually go from day 1 - 4 and then back to 1 and so on without a break because i figured that the muscle will be rested enough since it has been resting for 3 days. Is this bad to do? I like to go the gym so id rather go every day. Any advise ?

    I wouldnt advise working out 7 days a week. Your body needs time to rest, repair, and get back in balance with itself. Also if you are really working out your muscles then you shouldnt have to workout so often. I would advice you group them up even better and take it down to three days a week. Your grouping right now is messed up. When you are grouping you have to look at the exercise and see what its primary mover is, what teh stabilizers are in the movement, and the synergists. For instance you normally want to stick the following together;

    back/biceps

    legs

    chest/tricep/shoulders

    This is because when you are working one group you are also working the other so its best to work them in the same session. If you are just repeating 1-4 you techniquely have your back and biceps following eachother and working out your shoulders with a 1 day break inbetween your chest and triceps. If you are fatiguing your muscles properly then you will be to sore to stimulate them again so quickly. Focus on heavy weight low reps, slow tempo, and add rest to your routine. Once you fatigue and cause micro tears in your muscles you have to give you body time to rest before you stress them again.

    You do choose for relax. consult with a coach or in case you're in school consult with a actual guidance instructor. ideally the load coaching coach. If no longer don't be stingy pass to a coach with a collection of questions and have them spoke back. work out with them for a pair of weeks and study the basics. tell them it fairly is your objective. After which you're able to comprehend sufficient to locate new workouts. Magazines help.

    This can work very well, however it would not hurt to add in a rest day because even though you may not feel it the body may not be quite ready to be working that hard again.
