How can I make good pork chops...?
We ate last night at a restaurant (Russ') and the pork chop was probably broiled, must have been marinated, and you could see the liquid coming out when you cut it. Have never had one so juicy and good. Every time I make pork chops, they are blah and dry. We aren't big on using cream of mushroom soup. Any ideas???

Here's what I like to do;
Ingredients:
4 thin cut pork chops
1/4 cup of applecider vinegar
3/4 apple juice
10 peppercorns
5 crushed garlic cloves
a handful of basil leaves chopped
1 tsp Sweet Paprika
1 tsp salt
2 tsp onion powder
Mix all of these ingredients together and allow to sit in he fridge for about 1-8 hours, turning every so often.
Then you can do whatever you want with them. Fry, broil, bake, whatever you want. But make sure you let the meat sit for 5-8 minutes before eating, this helps the juices redistribute back into the meat to keep it juicy.

When I make pork chops, I use an electric frying pan. I brown the chops on both sides. ( The longer you brown them, the better the gravy will be.) Then when they are done browning, add a full glass of water or two and let them simmer for about an hour. Keep checking them and adding more water if it gets low. You don't want the water to dry up. They will be nice and tender, and then make your gravy right from the drippings. Add a little more water and either corn starch or flour to make the gravy .Put the flour or cornstarch in cold water first before putting in hot pan. About two tbls. per 1/2 cup water .Good Luck!!!

grill your chops and when ready, add a dollop of apple sauce to one side and grill until golden brown. simple but very tasty.
