How to create a logo like this in photoshop?

The logo I'm looking to replicate is here: http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/a29a1dfe26...

First, create a form with a transparent background.

    Use whatever text you want.

Go to your layers tab, and right click "Rasterize Text" or something along those lines.

This will turn your text into just any old layer. From here you should be able to apply shadows and what not to make it look like that.

And I believe that you can apply shadows and embossing without even rasterizing text with the new software.

    Hope this helps,

    Dingo

Take my advice: don't replicate it.

A logo needs to be eyecatching and bold in colours...the one you've shown is bland and mainly grey and white...just jazz it up a bit with some colours, flirt with the tools on PhotoShop...good luck!

First use this file as a Source, save it in your pictures and open it into photoshop.

Use your font tool to recreate or match the the font. use the stroke tool in your layers menu. then use an inner shadow
