A friend asked me how to change the password in Yahoo Mail?

1.Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account.

2. Click "My Account" at the top of the page, near the middle, where you see "Welcome, yourname." It's between "Sign Out" and "Switch Back."

3. Enter your password and click "Continue."

4. Click the Change Password link, located near the top of this page.

5. Enter your Current Password in the space provided.

6. Type your New Password.

Note: Passwords are case sensitive (so PASSWORD, PaSsWoRd, and password are not the same).

7.Confirm your New Password by typing it again. A strong password contains a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters.

8.Click the "Save" button to put your new password into effect.

Sign in with your current password and click Sign In. You will be taken to the Account Information page. Then after clicking the Change Password link at the top of the page, do the following:

1. Enter in your current password in the first box

2. After coming up with a new password, enter it in the second box

3. Re-enter the new password in the third box for verification purposes

4. Click Save when you're done
