Do you ever prefer telling the truth, just because it is.....?

I'll be honest........ once the truth was sooooo bizarre that I KNEW he wouldn't believe me... so I lied just because the lie was more believable. But I'm a horrible liar. I stutter and stammer and over exaggerate and he knew something was up. When I started telling the truth.......... well he was dying laughing cause he could hear the "truth" in my voice and my expressions and he so so understood why I thought he wouldn't believe it. Of course I prefer the truth..... just sometimes......... odd how weird the truth can be.

Truth is indeed sometimes stranger than fiction; and I can't remember everything I say, so telling the truth is just easier, unless of course when the state trooper asks me if i know how fast i was going and I look him right in the eye and say "no sir"......
