Is there a quick effective way to delete my text messges without having my phone crash so much? I have one conversation strand that has 3,000 plus text messages on it, how can i delete it without having it crash so much?

If you do a factory reset you pretty much lose everything on the phone. So just delete the text messages unless you want everything to go back to the way it was when you bought the phone.
