Do people who have seasonal jobs get unemployment during the few months they are off work?

If they have 2 jobs and one is seasonal, but the other one isn't, do they still get unemployment from the seasonal job for the few months they are off?

Update:

I was just curious. I know people that draw unemployment while they are off for 2 months until they are able to go back to work. I was just wondering if they have 2 jobs and one of them closes down for 2 months out of the winter if they could still collect unemployment? Didn't think so though.

If they are still working at one of the jobs they cannot collect unemployment for the other.

It depends on the length of employment with the seasonal job and the state you live in. In Minnesota I think you only need to work a 6 month temporary job and you can file an unemployment claim. I know a few people that have had to do that. Your best source would be your local unemployment office.

Why could you're taking a activity it is obviously momentary and could pay under the unemployment you're receiving? in case you have been getting your foot interior the door to a larger risk i could understand, yet this would not make experience. don't sense responsible approximately taking unemployment, use it as an risk to hit upon a greater useful activity.

Unemployment goes by the amount of quarters you put in.. and I don't mean 25cents

I all depends on how much money a person makes.. ????

and how many people they are supporting?????

    Take care..U

    No, they are not.

Seasonal also means temporal, and so they stop working when the job is done (at the end of the summer for example), and their pay, benefits, tips, etc, also ends at the same time.

Depends upon the willingness of the person.

Unemployment means Willingness to do ANY job but no job.
