Yes, it was a good game to watch if you were an Irish fan. I did feel that the sending off of the Italian in the first few minutes was a bit of an over-reaction, probably brought about by the blood flowing from the Irishman, but the replay clearly showed that it was not an intentional strike by the Italian, and if anything, the Irish player charged into the Italian's arm. Still, that's football, and the Irish deserved a point after the great goal from Keane. I look forward to seeing the Republic of Ireland's next game!!

oh yeah i saw it what a game i don't care weather the italian deserved to go or not the italians are a shell of the team they once were and its not a good irish team by a long shot but what a result and they shouldve won its just a pity the rest of the team didnt have as much bottle as s hunt but irelands 2big problems are creating the chances to score and then taking them when they do played school boy soccer with noel hunt we were in the same year and against stephen

yes congrats, but remember, Italy held a 1-0 lead against them for the entire match while playing the whole match with a man short. I still think Ireland will come second to italy in the group

Personally, I was expecting a defeat on Italian grounds. I think this should boost Irish morale and momentum.
Italy will always qualify, on top or lackluster. The issue, as usual, is who will qualify WITH them.
