Have 3, 2'x6' sheets of plexiglass framed with light weight wood. Paint the frames to coordinate with your color choices. After they are dry mask them and cover the plexiglass with torn pieces of handmade paper like you can buy in large sheets at an art supply or craft store. Adhere the paper to the glass with Beacon's Liquid Laminate ( dries fast and clear ) or Mod Podge ( takes longer to dry and may remain slightly milky looking ). Hang all three " stained glass" partitions in a row from the ceiling using eye hooks, chain and anchor bolts in the ceiling. Effective division but still lets light pass through. If you are reluctant to install bolts in the ceiling, then hinge the 3 panels together to create a room screen.

The most sensible thing to do would be to buy book shelves or entertainment center and use that as partition. If you want something more permanent you can build a knee or half wall out of building materials this would be built on site custom size but would not would if you are renting.

go to ikea online they have large modular partitions which have squares to dispay things in , and will still let the light flow through

I agree with Mark and Designer. you can also use hooks or towel rods hanging from the ceiling and hang fabric, plexi glass, bamboo shade etc.

Sorry I don't have any pics only the thoughts in my mind, I would invite you in, but Idk how. Good Luck
