Golf betting When backing E/W in a Tournament.?

When backing E/W in a tournament, how do you go on if your player ties with say 3 others for 2nd. There are 4 tied for 3rd, and 3 for 4th. Does your place money in that case get divided by 10 ?

Update:

appreciate that's how you would pay out to the players , cg+1 but i'm wondering how the bookies would pay out in that situation !

If you have 4 ties for 2nd (you and 3 others) then 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place money get piled together and divided by 4. That makes the next position (4 players Tied for 3rd) 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th place money evenly divided and so on. The 3 players T4th would get 10th, 11th, and 12th place money evenly split. That is the way the tournaments themselves allocate prize money.

If you only pay out up to 4th place, then all of the prize money gets divided by the guys tied for 2nd (except for the winner of course)

OK didn't realize it was a book question. Have to plead ignorance, because I know it is handled differently in Vegas than in Europe. In most Vegas books, you will have individual player winning odds, and a bunch of other head to head or over/under type bets, but you don't really have place money on golf. Sorry, I just don't know how that would be treated
