What can cause a Trailblazer to idle rough, and have no power on acceleration?

My 2004 Trailblazer is idling roughly. By this I mean, it idles and then sometimes feels like it is going to stall but spurts onward. Also, the truck feels like it is shaking during idle. When I accelerate from zero to 40, it feels like there is no power on the acceleration. It slowly gets up to the speed you want, once out of first, it works perfect. Drives great on the highway too. Seems to be just in zero to 40 range that there is a problem with no power. Have had a tune up and new spark plugs done, but seems worse after tune up. Tune up done at dealership. All maintenance since 2005 done exclusively at dealership.

Update:

update. Apparently, the water pump died today. One week after the tuneup was done, and they replaced some part that had to do with air circulation. So I yelled and screamed real loud today. 500 dollars later, we will see tomorrow how it runs. But I still want ideas on what else might be wrong. Oh, they replaced the fan belt two weeks ago as well. Can a badily installed fan belt cause the water pump to die?

Update 2:

well water pump was the culprit. No more issues with rough idling or lack of acceleration. Drives excellent now. Not sure if dealership did anything else, but I sure yelled a whole lot. Seems to have worked as truck runs good as new.
