Traveling Question! Spring Break!?

Have you been to the Amelia Island area (on the Atlantic Ocean on the Florida/Georgia border)? I think you would really enjoy it.

Lots of different activities - shopping, outdoor activites (bikes, kayaking, horseback riding, etc). The area is laid back.

Make sure you visit Cumberland Island!!

The Laguna Beach Christian Retreat Center in Panama City Beach, Florida. (On the panhandle) Look them up on-line.

We stay there often. They are right next to Gulf so you can walk across the street to beautiful white beaches. They have tons of pools. Rooms have double beds and bunk beds so the whole family can stay in one room. Most rooms have a kitchenette equipped with some untensils, but good idea to bring paperplates, plasticware, etc. Also have toaster, coffee pot, frig, stove.no extra charge.) They don't provide bedding or towels: you have to bring your own bedding & pillows. We use our queen sets on the double-beds & you can use single sheet sets or sleeping bags on the bunks.

The places hosts large groups, but also welcomes individual families. Good place to go anytime, not just in summer.
