Cant find a needle to fit an old sewing machine.?

I had a very old Kingston sewing machine. Its says Kingston Deluxe and has the numbers H310579 on it. I used to sew on it, but, the needle broke. My husband bought me a new machine. It has been in storage for years. Now, my daughter would love to sew on it.But, we cant seem to find a needle to fit it anywhere.Does anyone know where I could get a needle for it?All the needles I find are round at the top. The one I need has to be round on one side and flat on the other.

My Bernina uses needles that are rounded at the front and flat at the back. I just bought them at Walmart and they are Kidd Brand.

The Kingston uses a standard needle, which should be available at any sewing machine store

Schmetz sewing machine needles can be found at Walmart or fabric shops. They have the flat side at the top of the needle.

This is a universal design used in all modern home sewing machines and I am puzzled as to why you cannot find this style needle.

my daughter introduced me some doe dermis to make her some shoes out of! am having very much of hardship with it too! useing leather-based glue stick the seam mutually and clamp under a board and brick to set! After approximately 24 hours employing a leather-based needle in the device and longest right away stitch stitch very slowly alongside the seam in 2 lines. it works extra effective this style for many of your seams. My difficulty became the doe dermis became stretching, the two good or backside and not working as different leathers have in the previous. so i began out doing the glueing difficulty. do make specific to examine your device threading, bobbin threading and that the bobbin is in the case properly, the needle is in the device properly, and so on or it might shrink to rubble even on fabric. Yeah, my daughter spent over $a hundred for this doe dermis conceal!!!

I would try an antique shop or a specialty sewing store
