What would you like to do? If you are interested in art, volunteer at an art festival. Volunteering with a group, such as the red cross can be placed on a resume, and you can also list office, communication, organization skills on there from that experience. It will help you during interviews, because they ask questions about past job experiences. Maybe you could work with Big Brothers, Big Sisters, or the Boys and Girls club. Or a summer rec program. My friend's daughter is only 14 and was hired at a summer camp where she'll live and be feed, as well as have money automatically deposited into a bank account back at home for hours she worked in the office or as activities leader.

another tip that i just learned from a CEO on a business trip is that when he looks at resumes he said you should list what you goal is. What you want to accomplish in what amount of set time. extracurricular activities look good. like if you're apart of a club or sports which shows you are well rounded. also try to get the point across that you are the right person for the job for certain reasons. what sets you apart?
