What would you do if the mailman was sitting on your mailbox reading your mail?

I am a very private person.And people sneaking though my stuff,be that objects,mail or whatever,makes me angry.So,if I caught the mailman reading my stuff,I'd make him regret it.

According to U.S.P.S. federal guidelines mail is not supposed to be delivered to an unsecured mailbox. The mailman can hand you your mail directly if you are there when he makes his rounds. He must legally be sure that you are the recipiant of the mail for that box so they ask to see an official state or federal id. You could also have your mail sent to a post office box or "general delivery" at your zip code's post office and then pick it up there. Your landlord is supposed to have you mail box fixed within a reasonable amount of time.

Something very illegal...I mean what I would do to him, not because he read my mail but because he was sitting on my mailbox. I cannot tolerate lazy delivery people in my world.

Wonder why? I mean, why wouldn't he just sit in his car? My mailbox is like 4 1/2 feet high too, and rather small...so idk if his lil self could get up there..

I would ask him to get off of my mail box, I don't think it could support his weight.
