How long will I feel Like he's gone forever when he's not?
My boyfriend just left on deployment last minute yesterday and I feel like he's going to be gone forever but I know he's coming back in about three months but the idea of him being gone is hard to cope with. I just wanna know how long will this feeling of "he's gone forever" last and what should I do other then go to school and make my military career better? P.S. we are not even in the same branch of Military...

you'll always have that feeling , its obvious you care about him. the best thing for you to do is to stay faithful and do whatever you think he would want you to do to get through the time

I have felt the same way. My BF is in the Air Force and if we missed one night not talking on the phone, Id feel really really upset and that I missed him for like forever. He told me, it's only for a night though that I have to be "strong". But now, we arent talking no more for almost 2 weeks. He's gone to fly somewhere and I have no idea if he's back home or not. But prior to that, he said that he's going overseas and probably would stay for three weeks. I was like..."No way!" I feel bad about it, but it's his job. I know that I am going to miss him so much but what else can I do? As long as he promised that he's always there for me, then the feeling of "he's gone forever" would not last that long, though it feels like it. I am always here waiting. I am not OK but I gotta deal with the pain. You will be fine.
