do i need more memory scan reads 512 comp shows 448?
ok here is the thing i just did a scan at crucial .com it the results showed 512mb of memory but when i go into computer-properties it says i only have 448 mb of ram do i need an upgrade what's going on:((

You probably have an integrated video card. The integrated video card "borrows" RAM from your system when it needs it, for example if you are playing a game. However, even 512mb of RAM is not very much and I would recommend getting more. I always buy my RAM from www.newegg.com.
