Well, your first problem is that you think there is a correlation between atheism and science which there is not (implied by your "yard stick" comment as if atheists are the only ones taking "measurements"). Secondly, if you had been referring to those that believe in science rather than a literal bible or some other abstract concept, that could apply to both theists and atheists ... science is not exclusive to one of them. Lastly, those "limited minds" you refer to have given you EVERYTHING you see around you. From the computer you typed this on, to the vaccines that kept you alive past the infant stage, our "limited minds" have literally given you your life and everything you do in it. Until you give up all modern luxuries and go back to living off the land and refusing medical advances ... you are benefiting from the "limited minds" you ridicule.
