Does the USA use the same electrical outlets as Ghana?

    If you are bringing along electrical appliances, they should operate on or adaptable to 220 volts. Electric outlets in Ghana accept 3 and 2-pronged, British or continental European type plugs or converters.

    The electrical outlet in US are 110volts whilst those in Ghana operate with the UK, or European 220volts version... you can still use your electrical appliance in Ghana if you get an international adaptor.. The sucket on the walls have 3 round holes unlike the US ones with slim rectangular holes...
