Am I in LOVE with him and is he in LOVE with me?

I have been seeing my boyfriend for a couple of weeks now but we've known each other for a while. We are both in the military but we are in different branches. He has been tasked for deployment and is on his way to Germany as I type. I feel so bad now that he's gone but I am very hopeful that he will return in Three months. I can't help but smile and get butterflies in my stomach every time he says that he loves me and that he misses me. I was in a relationship for 2.5 years and never felt quite like this before. So are we really in love with each other or am I wishfully thinking?
