you can write additional details and sometimes people return to check then they might edit their question with additional information to answer your question
and you cant answer your own questions, unless you have 2 accounts with different alternate emails, but thats kinda illegal

You cant answer your own questions, but if you go to edit under the question, you can add details.

yea, go ahead and answer your own question. if someone replys and u want to say something back, then add additional info to your question and address them. theres a tab under your question that says Edit.
