How do you feel about this dog name?
The name is Callie.
From what I have read Callie is a derivative of Caroline, and as a HUGE Red Sox fan the song Sweet Caroline means a lot to me since it's played during every 8th inning at Fenway Park.
What do you think?
The dog is a lab-retriever mix, black. I have also thought of Tessie, ans coincidentally my great aunts name was Tessie....but Callie seems to be the fav thus far.
Also, for the record, the cubbies are my fav national league team ;-)

Thats a really cute name. If he/she is a border collie it could be a collie named callie.

That sounds cute. :)
Try calling her that and see how it suits her. If it sounds right to both of you then it's perfect.
I've read that it's easier for animals to learn names that end in that sound (ie, y, i...). But some animals just learn names faster than others.
I named a kitty Tessie. Go Sox!

Defiantly a good name, though I agree with one of the other posters... test it out, and if she seems to like it, go for it. :)
