severe Middle/Upper Back Pain!?
I have been having this agonizing pain for 3 days now! the 1st day the pain eased up abit, 2nd day i went and bought some robaxacet, it seemed to have work, and now 3rd day nothing is helping for the pain! iam hopeing to get an apointment with my dr today! because i do not want to go to the out patience, i went there b4 when the back pain kept me up for days, and they were very rude there!! & i got no answers...Anyone know what it could be...
The discomfort is very hard to describe...not a pulling pain or a knot... hmmm pressure maybe! very uncomfortable! :(
I have also Been using a magic bag, for hot/cold therapy!! No luck!
PAIN meds arent working!!!

Gallbladder issues can cause severe upper back pain. I had HORRIBLE pressure in my upper back and it also felt kind of like a burning sensation. I've had it so bad I was trembling and crying just lying down because nothing would kill the pain.
Did this start after a meal?
Do you have a fever?
Severe pain needs to be addressed immediately by a doctor so you need to call your doctor or go to the ER if you can (I know you went but maybe they will do an ultrasound or CT scan. Truthfully, only the HIDA scan showed my gallbladder issue, every other scan/test was normal but it's worth a shot!!
