McDonalds Corporate Straegy?
I am currently doing research on the McDonald's Corporation for my business policy class, and i was just wondering where can i find McDonald's global business strategies? I check there website but McDonald's don't publish that information. So i just wanted to know if other websites will have some information on McDonald's business strategies.
Thank you

Naber, your link is bogus.
First:
Watch your terminology. Corporate strategy has to do with what business(s) McDonald's is engaged in. As far as I know, McD's only deals in the restaurant business, so its corporate strategy is a single business unit strategy, likely of growth. To make this more clear, GE's corporate strategy is of interelating business units. Consumer electrics, submarines, locomotives, light bulbs etc share some synergies and each is a separate business unit. This is what corporate strategy is about.
You also use the term "business" strategy, which is how a business unit firm compete with other firms in its industry. This might be low-cost strategy, differentiation, or focus strategies. They will not outright say it. You will need to categorize it by their positioning within their industry.
Either case, typically a firm will not announce its business unit strategy. If they do, it is well after they have implemented it.
Get clarification on what level of strategy you need to observe. Business and corporate strategies are not similar. If someone advises contrary to this, they are mistaken.

Real estate is their strategy. You will notice they ALWAYS have the best locations because they move out and get them early in the development of growing cities.
