I think its funny that Bill Maher insists that Eddie Izzard is in denial and transvestites have to be gay when he himself looks like an Ellenish "chapstick lesbian" and had been rumored to have been romantically linked with rival Ann Coulter who looks like a poorly put together drag queen

Not sure. He's always been a champion of gay rights, for that matter equal rights for everyone. I checked online and could not find any reference to being married, currently or in the past. I'm gay and can see the possibility, but not enough to evidence to speculate. Unlike Tom Cruise, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Travolta.
