Who thinks Resident Evil 5 is the best resident evil game and why?

I would have to say that i like Resident Evil 5 More than i do 4 but i think they are on an equal level. The reasoning that i have for this is mainly that couldn't really get to hooked on resident evil 4. On the other hand with Resident evil 5 i couldn't put the controller down. I'm not sure what the difference is in the game i think with RE5 You just want to see how the story unfold because it truly is a graphic and good story i don't really remember to much of RE4's story. Also something i did notice in RE5 was how it would randomly zoom to parts of Sheva's body it would focus on her breast or on her but in different cut scenes (mainly when it first starts or when it would finish) Also when it came to the costume changes you could get for the two players they tried to give Sheva character a more sexual look as well i am kind of wondering if this is some of the reasoning behind the popularity of the game besides it being bad ***. Another major thing that i think made this game better than RE4 is the co-op game play it really gives you the extra edge that you need when you are struggling for ammo. But it also became extremelyy annoying at times in the gameex specially if the A.I. decided to play hero and go off and die.

I Believe Actually Resident Evil 4 Is The Greatest Of The Series. Without 4, Resident Evil 5 Wouldn't Have Everything From RE4. Everything On RE5 Was Based On RE4. But Still Resident Evil 5 Is An Amazing Gaming Experience For All Gamers. Never To Be Forgotten. ™

And yes, IMO RE5 is RE4 in the sun. If you look closely the animations are kinda the same. The same staggering, dodging etc. Also, they both contain some sort've military style'd majini(re5) and ganado(re4) in the end. Both games you can knock down canisters (re4, liquid Nitrogen) (re5 some sort've compress'd gas). But, Re4 is more creepier, since the location plays a big part. You're in a country side in the middle of nowhere, the sky is grey and ur on ur own against hordes of infected ppl. So yea, thats what i think.

Its good but i dont think its the best and ive played almost all of the resident evil games.

I like it but I agree with the majority who answered that thinks 4 was better. In 5, there are more places to go and the graphics are nicely done. Even though 5 wasn't horrifically scary, there were a lot of times when I was just screaming and running away from the guys with axes and waiting for time to run out. But I kept my cool. ;]

I still stick with 4. RE5 isn't really creepy, therefore not much of a horror title. Though it is probably one of the best action games out there, I don't think it achieved the epicness of RE4. But it still has great graphics, and I think Sheba is hot.

5 is good, but I give 4 a slight edge.

main thing i don't like is that you always in a pair i prefer co-op if you want and if you don't then you play on your own without an A.I

All his other games don't appeal to me as much, it's so much fun watching him kill people :)
