M Goldfish fry are dying. Why?
I have an outdoor pond with 8 goldfish and 2 shubunkins in it. This morning I noticed that abut 30 tiny little fry are lying dead on the surface. Is this just normal "wastage"? I've never had goldfish that have bred before and I don't really know what to do with them. Any help would be appreciated :)

in the adventure that your pond isn't a synthetic closed gadget pond, do no longer upload your goldfish. additionally, do no longer feed them green water. they're small, yet no longer that small. Goldfish toddlers can frequently consume overwhelmed goldfish flakes soaked in somewhat water. they're in all possibility ravenous. additionally, you're able to desire to be introducing volatile micro organism or parasites interior the process the pond water. Goldfish make lots of waste, and don't tolerate grimy water. this is in basic terms as undesirable for them as that's for the different fish. Did you in basic terms upload the toddlers while they have been born with out biking the hot tank? this would additionally be a situation, the on a regular basis water differences will help. Fish do no longer flow into marvel from being put in clean water, that's a foul delusion that perpetuates ill treatment of fish.
