How can I tell if I'll get sick on a rollercoaster?
I've always been scared to go on roller coasters - not because I'm afraid of heights or anything like that. I'm scared I'll end up getting sick and throwing up and embarrass myself in public. I wanna go to Six Flags next month for my boyfriends birthday, so I was wondering how I could know if I'd get sick? And is there anything I can do to prevent getting sick?

two things,
1. Alot of people are afraid of gettin sick on rollar coasters, when only a very few people actually do get sick
2. Dont eat anything heavy before you go on, too much sugar will probably upset your stomach, dont drink too much. Dont go overboard and eat like, nothing tasty, because alot of the fun of going to theme parks is eating the tasty food, just like the fair. :)
hope i helped

There isn't really a way of telling whether or not you will get sick, but i would suggest trying some tamer rides and then working your way up. If you feel fine, then by all means try the roller coasters. And don't eat a lot before you go on them...but don't worry, they are a lot of fun and i have never seen someone get sick on one!

If you feel sick in the stomach before going on the rollercoaster. You should be fine if not having a sick stomach, I used to be afraid of going on a rollercoaster, and when I've been on them it's been ok.

most likely you won't get sick.. people don't really get sick on coasters.. it's the rides that spin in circles, or anything that will make you dizzy that makes you sick.. that used to be my fear too, then when i was like 12, i didn't wanna look like a wuss in front of my friends, so i rode one.. now i've ridden probably 50 coasters, and in 2 weeks i'll be in vegas, and ride a couple of the ones out there.. But, if you do get sick, you'll know.. it's just like getting car sick.. at first, you start to sweat, your stomach will cramp, may get light headed, and then the ride will be over.. you'll be fine, and enjoy six flags..

Don't eat anything beforehand that'll give you a stomachache, stay away from chocolate before riding the coaster, and scream alot during the roller coaster. and if you feel like you're gonna puke, think about something that makes you happy. OH and laugh alot once you get off the ride and see how ridiculous you were for not wanting to try it :D

if you begin to feel sick after wards, sit down in a
cool place and drink a lot of water
i'm sure you will be okay

I remember when I was 10 and scarred as hell of roller coasters with loops, but then I finally decided to go for it when I saw this one coaster with only one loop at a fair. Sure, it was scary at first, but as soon as we went through that one big loop, I discovered it was actually a ton of fun!
The only real way to figure out if you'll get sick is to actually go on one. Take it slow at first, and if you like it, move on to bigger ones like the Batwing, which is SO MUCH FUN!

there's no way to know ahead of time if you'll get sick...
don't eat weird foods before you go on it
roller coasters aren't bad on the stomache though, you should be fine

Is it possible that you suffer from vertigo? In that case people with vertigo struggle with riding rides just because of things such as height, speed, turns, etc. I rode a ride with a friend who was somehow talked into riding Gemini at Cedar Point, and this person had vertigo, and he was freaking out the entire time. If vertigo is the case, then don't worry, you aren' t the only one.

You'd feel it in your stomach. Trust me! And DON'T. I REPEAT. DON'T EAT BEFORE A ROLLERCOASTER. EAT AFTER A ROLLERCOASTER.
