Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.
I know how you feel. Sometimes when you really love someone there will always be a place for them in your heart no matter what you do even if your not together. In time it will hurt less and less but it sounds like she had a major influence in your life. I hope that things will work out for the best for you. But life does go on. You will find someone who loves you even more and you love them more. It may not seem like it now but it will work out for the best. Everything happens for a reason.

It does. Last year when my ex left me, I thought about her every day, all day. Now, the thought of her pops into my head every now and then. So yeah, time does heal. You'll get there.
