I hit a wall in my 2003 Dodge Neon SXT and now it won't start.?
Doing down the freeway about 50-60 mph hit some Ice and then bounced off a wall. Front end was pushed out of line about an inch to the right. However my lights, radio, AC - everything still works, but the engine won't start. The starter motor is still good and so are the connections. I need to know if there is an inertia switch or auto shut off switch or something of that sort and the location of it. The fuses in side dash panel and under the hood are all fine. there is no clicking or any thing when trying to start it. The engine is a 2.0 and it is an automatic transmission.
Thanks for the help.
Air bags did not deploy and the car didn't come with a manual.
there is nothing in the trunk except for wires to the tail lights and sound system.

There iss an automatic cut off for the fuel pump. Look in your owner's manual, and find where the reset switch is located. It's probably in the trunk. This is a safety feature. If it were a bad crash, it keeps the fuel pump from pumping raw gas all over the place and causing a fire. Good luck.

a lot of newer cars do have a type of switch if in an accident to disable the car from starting as a safety mechanism. some cars wont start if the air bags are blown also.
