Writing a book...Names for characters?
I am writing a book about a girl who has a horrible life, and then she meets twins (boy and girl), and her life changes drastically. She becomes happy, and the friends are inseparable.
Need names for the boy and girl twins (12 years old)
And the girl main character (12 years old)
Thanks so much!

I think it would be useful to know when this story takes place, so that the names you choose can better fit in with the time period. If the book is set in the 1700s, you don't want your characters to be named Kayli, Jayden, and Mikayla, because those names weren't used back then. If it's written in present day, you want to give the characters names that would have been popular 12 years ago, when they were born. Don't give them what's currently trendy today, because while you may love the names Ava, Sophia, and Aiden, those names weren't very popular 12 years ago. You want your characters to have names that are believable.
So, assuming that this book is set in 2009, that would make your characters born in 1997. Some popular names from that year include:
Boys:
Michael, Jacob, Brandon, Austin, Tyler, Zachary, Ryan, Jordan
Girls:
Emily, Jessica, Ashley, Samantha, Taylor, Megan, Rachel, Amanda, Jennifer, Brittany, Stephanie
Hope this could help :)

hmm, not sure. only two of my characters are literate - the story is based in a fictional ancient civilization btw - so if those two each wrote a book, my first character would probably write a historical account of the era he has lived through, documenting the different cultures and languages he encountered, and the roles his companions played in the politics surrounding the war (because the story is based around a war), and all of that would be related back to the wisdom of God in one way or another. My second character, on the other hand, would apply everything he's seen and lived through to his own philosophies, writing mostly about the futility of human nature and discussing what he thinks is our ultimate, inevitable fate, and what direction he believes people need to move in if there is any hope for revival. He scoffs at the idea of gods and asserts that mankind must choose its own destiny.

Hey..! I hope I can help with a few of my ideas!:
The main character girl has to have a memorable and unique name, in my opinion. Perhaps something catchy, yet not OTT, such as:
* Nasrin *
*Sayeda*
*Siofra*
Siofra (pronounced Shee-Fra) is an old Irish name meaning "elf-child".
Nasrin and Sayeda are Middle Eastern.
For the twin boy and girl, I would go with something like:
Rosa (very unique -! Italian for the colour pink) and Jez,
or
Bela and Ash (Izobela and Ashford)
Hope this helps, and Best of Luck with the novel! =]

Oh, such a cute question! I think you're name, grace is nice for the main character, Unless you think that'd be too weird, then how about Victoria or Melody. And the twins, Emily and Edward. Or Samantha and Maxwell. No particular reason for the names. I thought their just nice.

The twins could be Colby and Connor, or Caleb. The main character could be Calin, Macy, Taylor is a common name. Hah I have a weird obsession with "C".

I think that's a great idea, I would love to read your book!
I think a good name for the main character would be Maybelle Heronne.
A good name for the twins would be Chrysanthemum (nickname; chrissy) and Caleb Richardson.
Good luck!!!
P.S. It would be very original! :-)
