I want to start my own website... How do I get started?

I don't know how much about making websites that you know, but when I first started out I didn't know anything. I went to a site that is basically an online classroom that will tell you how to get started, give you tips and how tos on how to get traffic to your site (which is important), help you find key words, and much more. I got started with this program and have learned so much about internet marketing and how things work it's incredible. You will not only learn "hows" of getting a website started by also why you're doing those "hows". I have also come to learn more about how the internet works and understand things better as well. Well enough about what I've learned...you should check it out for yourself. (And yes there is a monthly fee for it, but you can earn that back and the information is well worth the fee...I've been with it for about 2 months and I am learning something new everyday and improving my site everyday).

I suggest finding a good thick HTML language book at yoymur local barnes&noble. It's pretty confusing, trying to learn the programming language, but if you really commit yourself you can do it.

M friend Jake has a site that has a google search bar, and he gets good money from it. Check it out! I think it was google adsense.
