I have been getting Best Answers but haven't been getting notified, yet others are getting over notified...?

Yahoo doesn't like anyone.

They tell me I got 12 points..then they delete the question.

duh....

and I keep using way too much punctuation....hmmmmm...............

Hi there. I got one of my BAs for a question sent to me 38 times, and now they are sending me the same cycle of BA notifications over and over. I have pretty much just started ignoring them now.

I've gotten the same cycle of Best Answer notifications about 5 times now (the cycle is 12 notifications long). If you really want them to stop this, send up your spam filter on your email service to prevent them from sending them to you until Y!A fixes the problem, which is probably going to take a few days.

This is a glitch that Yahoo Answers is experiencing at this point in time, along with the contact question email notification and all you can do is wait. Yahoo Answers will have it sorted out within the next couple of days, if not within the next week.

The last couple of days Yahoo!s Best Answer notifications went crazy, sending many hundreds of duplicates for only a few best answers, now they have died down, and it seems that we are not receiving BA notifications at all at the moment, we will just have to wait until the system sorts it self out.

I haven't been getting notified either. a contact said he received 30 for the same question.

I asked a question which yapoo said got deleted the second I clicked submit, but I'm getting answers for it.

Go to the forum. There is an entire thread on the problems and glitches YA is having with the e-mail notifications. Be thankful you are in the NOT getting e-mail group.

Quitcher cryin! I haven't gotten any notices in two days, either, but the thingie at the top tells me "WHOA! You've earned 30 points!" and I'm just too lazy to go through my answers and take a look.

Dont feel bad.. even though they aint tellin u BA they will not forget to tell you that you have a Vio.. I know i got one yesterday morning..Sorry sweetie.

It's not just you....It's happened to me too...I never got a notification for my last BA.....

yesterday there were people saying about 13 notifications about BA were sent to them. Well, what do you know.......
